Growing up I have always had a love of nature and landscape and this is something I try to share when taking pictures. I try and keep things simple and not overly complicated and hope that my photos will communicate the things I enjoy and inspire others to get out into the great outdoors to experience the natural world for themselves.

​I live in Egerton, on the edge of the East Pennine moors. I love to get away from the suburban sprawl and up in to the hills and always have my trusty walkabout Nikon D7500 camera with me when I am out and about, usually with my little beagle Bella in tow as well.

As an avid birdwatcher, I take great delight in watching and recording birds on my local patch, occasionally going off on 'twitches' if something rarer turns up nearby.

As someone relatively new to photography, I have set up this website in order to give myself a bit of a push and to progress my photographic journey. It's very much a work in progress! I'd value your comments and feedback on my pictures so do let me know what you think via the comment form below.
